I wrote up a little technical article on how VoodooPad 4 does its page syncing as part of VoodooPad's future docs.

It was my 3rd real attempt at adding syncing to VP, and I think I got it mostly right this time. In previous attempts I tried to be smart about how I did synchronization, or made server side components, or just other crazy things. What I got in the end wasn't the fastest way to do things or the sexiest, but it seems work. Plus, VP's syncing is not tied to MobileMe, which was a concern for myself and some of my customers. I know from my own testing that it works fine with Mac OS X's Apache install, as well as with DreamHost and Bluehost.

An interesting side effect of the way I'm doing syncing is that it is not tied to a single person. So in theory, you could have 10 people all sharing the same pages between each other, and having edits + new pages sync around to each other. That's just in theory of course. If you try this out, let me know how it works out for you.

I've also setup a company blog on Flying Meat, where I've been putting tips or other random bits that are FM product related. If you find that stuff interesting, time to subscribe to yet another new feed.
