I've been doing a lot of program/api design work lately in my favorite medium, a blue col-erase pencil + paper. Usually I use tiny ruled graph paper, but I've run out of it and there are all these empty sketchbooks laying around...

So anyway, I've noticed that I'm way faster at typing than I ever was at writing. Which annoyed me at first but then I realized that this slowdown actually gave me a little bit more time to think before commiting my thoughts down. My thoughts always change when I'm writing, but now they get more time to change and maybe become clearer.

Maybe? Possibly? It's a good thing, right? +1 for traditional media?
